This opportunity invites research proposals on the effects of technology and digital media exposure on children and adolescents, including broader impacts on families and communities. It encourages interdisciplinary collaborations spanning behavioral sciences, cognition, computational modeling, computer science, neurodevelopment, pediatrics, and social sciences. The phased R61/R33 mechanism will be used to support innovative projects addressing this urgent research gap.
Eligible applicants include state and county governments, school districts, higher education institutions, Native American tribal governments and organizations, public housing authorities, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, small businesses, and foreign components as defined by NIH.
