It encourages high risk, high impact transformative studies that advance knowledge and strategies for HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and virus suppression in people who use substances or have substance use disorders. Clinical trials are optional under this award.
Eligible applicants include Native American tribal governments, private higher education institutions, nonprofits, special district governments, county and city governments, public housing authorities, for-profit organizations, independent school districts, state governments, and small businesses.
