This grant supports early-career clinician-scientists trained in medical or surgical specialties to conduct transdisciplinary aging research. It funds projects that generate pilot data and foster professional development within supportive research environments focused on aging or geriatrics. Applicants must submit a Professional Development Plan and demonstrate a commitment to aging research relevant to their clinical specialty.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and tribal governments; public and private higher education institutions; nonprofits; for-profit organizations; and small businesses. Foreign organizations and foreign subawards are not eligible.
