Supports federally recognized AI/AN Tribes, tribal colleges, and organizations to develop and implement effective training and mentoring for doctoral students in biomedical research. The program focuses on building skills for culturally appropriate, ethical research on AI/AN health disparities and facilitating career transitions into the biomedical workforce.
Eligible applicants include federally recognized Native American tribal governments, tribal colleges, tribal organizations, public and private institutions of higher education, and others as specified. Applicants must be AI/AN Tribal Entities or related organizations.
