This fellowship supports early career investigators to carry out independent research programs in Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences disciplines such as Atmospheric Chemistry, Climate Dynamics, Paleoclimate, Aeronomy, Magnetospheric Physics, and Space Weather. Fellowships last up to 24 months and are awarded to individuals who submit proposals with identified mentors and U.S. host institutions. The program aims to foster leadership and interdisciplinary research in the field.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents with a PhD in a relevant field awarded within the last 2 years or have limited full-time employment since PhD. Proposals are submitted individually with identified mentors and host institutions in the U.S.
