This funding supports rigorous research projects focused on physical and mental health conditions related to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Funded activities include screening, diagnostic, treatment, prevention, quality of life, omics, epidemiologic, health services, and implementation research to improve care and knowledge of WTC-related conditions and inform future disaster responses.
Open to a wide range of U.S. entities including small businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, tribal organizations, and government entities at various levels. Eligibility includes both for-profit and nonprofit organizations with specific IRS statuses.
