This program supports multidisciplinary research and education projects aimed at building trust in cyberspace by addressing security, privacy, and resilience challenges. It funds research on vulnerabilities, social and technical trust dimensions, and educational initiatives to train cybersecurity professionals. Projects may be submitted under Research (RES), Education (EDU), or Seedling (SEED) categories, each with specific budget and duration limits, fostering collaboration and broadening participation.
Eligible applicants include U.S.-based institutions of higher education, non-profit non-academic organizations associated with research or education, and individuals holding tenured, tenure-track, or full-time research/teaching positions at eligible U.S. campuses.
