The Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowships support early-career researchers in mathematics and statistics by funding postdoctoral research environments that maximize scientific development. Two award options are available: Research Fellowship and Research Instructorship. The program funds research in mathematics, statistics, and their applications to other disciplines.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents with a doctoral degree earned within the last 2 years. They must not have been previous MSPRF awardees or NSF PIs and must propose research in mathematics or statistics.
