This fellowship supports early career postdoctoral researchers in social, behavioral, and economic sciences to pursue independent research and training. Applicants must address important scientific questions within SBE scope and select from two tracks: Fundamental Research or Broadening Participation. The award is made directly to the fellow, who must identify a sponsoring scientist and host institution in the U.S.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents with a doctoral degree in SBE sciences obtained within 3 years prior or within 12 months after the deadline. Applicants cannot hold full-time tenure-track faculty positions and must submit proposals individually.
