The Social Psychology Program funds theoretically grounded empirical research that advances understanding of how macro- and micro-level social forces shape human behavior, attitudes, and experience. It supports proposals developing new theories or methods, encourages open science practices, and prioritizes research with potential societal impact. Proposals involving non-human animals must directly contribute to human social behavior understanding. Various proposal types including CAREER, RUI, RAPID, and EAGER are accepted.
Open to any type of entity without restrictions. Principal Investigators should have relevant expertise in psychology or related fields.
