Supports research to design novel or greatly improved research tools and methods that advance biology across bioinformatics, instrumentation, and research methods. Projects must significantly advance biological understanding and be broadly applicable to the research community beyond a single team. Eligible applicants include US-based non-profit organizations and institutions of higher education.
Eligible applicants include US-based non-profit, non-academic organizations associated with research or education, and US institutions of higher education acting on behalf of faculty. There are no restrictions on who may serve as PI.
