This funding supports initiatives that build Ethiopia's capacity to meet International Health Regulation targets through multi-sector collaboration. Key focus areas include laboratory strengthening, workforce development, surveillance, emergency response, antimicrobial resistance, immunization, and health information systems. Projects should work closely with Ethiopian government agencies and partners to enhance outbreak detection and response capabilities.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and special district governments; tribal governments and organizations; public housing authorities; nonprofits; private and public higher education institutions; for-profit organizations; and small businesses.
