Supports investigator-initiated clinical trials addressing neurological diseases and care across the lifespan. Eligible studies include small molecules, biologics, devices, surgical, behavioral, diet-based, or rehabilitation therapies. Both early- and middle-phase exploratory trials and later phase confirmatory or comparative effectiveness clinical trials are supported. Foreign organizations may apply under specific NIH policies excluding foreign subawards/subcontracts.
