This grant provides funding to State Units on Aging and federally recognized Tribal Organizations under Title VI of the Older Americans Act for disaster reimbursement and assistance. Eligible activities include outreach, counseling, meals, equipment replacement, staff overtime, emergency medications, and transportation in areas designated by a Major Disaster Declaration. Applicants must coordinate with emergency managers and ACL contacts and submit proposals electronically. The project period is one year with total funding subject to availability.
Eligible applicants are State Units on Aging and federally recognized Tribal Organizations funded under Title VI of the Older Americans Act who have received a Major Disaster Declaration. Foreign entities are not eligible.
