This initiative supports fundamental research in mathematics and statistics essential for answering questions in biological and biomedical sciences. It encourages new collaborations and innovative activities by existing teams at the interface of mathematical and life sciences. Two funding tracks are available: up to $600,000 for 3 years and up to $1,200,000 for 3-4 years.
