The ECLIPSE program supports multidisciplinary translational research in plasma science and engineering, focusing on fundamental challenges with applications in manufacturing, environmental remediation, nanomaterials, sensor development, computational modeling, nano-photonics, and chemical measurement. Proposals must address challenges relevant to multiple NSF programs and demonstrate societal or technological benefits. Diversity and inclusion efforts are encouraged, with special outreach to HBCUs, MSIs, and EPSCoR jurisdictions.
