This funding supports multidisciplinary consortia of structural biologists, microbiologists, and experts to solve complex biological structures related to HIV and other infectious diseases. Funded centers will facilitate new collaborations, leverage shared resources, offer services to the research community, and train the next generation of scientists in structural biology of infectious diseases. Clinical trials are not allowed under this opportunity.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and special district governments; public and private higher education institutions; Native American tribal governments and organizations; nonprofits; for-profit organizations including small businesses. Foreign organizations are not eligible to apply.
