This funding supports the Renal and Environmental Science Core of the CURE Consortium to advance discovery science on Chronic Kidney Disease of Uncertain Etiology (CKDu) in agricultural communities. Research will investigate environmental exposures, genetic susceptibility, disease progression, and potential therapeutic targets. The consortium facilitates collaboration and serves as a resource for ancillary studies to inform public health interventions.
