This funding opportunity supports the development of in vitro, ex vivo, or in vivo assays and screening efforts aimed at identifying and characterizing therapeutic agents, including small molecules and biologics, for neurological disorders or non-opioid analgesics with minimal addiction liability. Use of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) is encouraged when appropriate. The notice allows applicants time to build collaborations and prepare projects; applications are not currently solicited.
