This funding opportunity supports multi-center clinical trials and ancillary studies conducted within NIH-funded Clinical Trial Research Networks. It uses a bi-phasic UG3/UH3 cooperative agreement mechanism, starting with a milestone-driven planning and start-up phase of up to 2 years, followed by a possible implementation phase of up to 5 years. Projects must be conducted within established network infrastructure with cooperative oversight by the administering NIH Institute or Center.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of government entities, educational institutions, tribal governments and organizations, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, small businesses, and other specified entities including foreign institutions.
