This opportunity funds a National Research Center to enhance federal and state policies that promote the dignity of work, economic self-sufficiency, and family stability through marriage, responsible fatherhood, child care, and reduced public assistance dependency. Funded activities include fellowship programs, extramural research grants, and knowledge-building events to connect researchers and policymakers. Research must align with statutory authorities and focus on efficient use of taxpayer dollars.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and special district governments; tribal governments and organizations; public housing authorities; nonprofits; institutions of higher education; for-profit organizations; and small businesses. Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible.
