The FY26 Tick-Borne Disease Idea Development Award supports innovative research projects that introduce new concepts or challenge existing paradigms to accelerate progress in reducing Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases. A Career Development Option is available for early-career investigators conducting mechanism-relevant research under mentorship, with separate review criteria and lower cost limits.
Open to any type of entity, with possible clarifications in additional eligibility information. Early-career investigators may apply under a special Career Development Option with mentorship.
