This award supports investigator-initiated research projects that advance spinal cord injury science, patient care, or quality of life. It funds studies across all research phases except those solely identifying intervention targets. An Early-Career Partnership Option enables two PIs to collaborate, with at least one early-career investigator. Separate awards are issued to each PI if funded, promoting collaborative research.
Open to any type of entity, with no specific restrictions noted. Early-career investigators can participate as partnering PIs under the Early-Career Partnership Option.
