The Energy and Mineral Development Program grant supports Federally recognized Tribal entities in identifying, evaluating, and assessing energy or mineral resources and related projects on Indian land. Projects must occur on Indian land and may include activities such as preservation, planning, interpretation, public engagement, and rehabilitation, particularly in support of the American250 celebration.
Eligible applicants are Federally recognized Native American tribal governments and Native American tribal organizations. Projects must be on Indian land as defined by law.
