Supports public housing authorities partnering with child welfare agencies to provide Housing Choice Voucher assistance to families at risk of child out-of-home placement and youth aged 18-24 who have left or will leave foster care and are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Voucher durations vary, with families receiving unlimited duration and youth limited to 36 months plus possible extensions under FSHO.
Eligible applicants are public housing authorities and Indian housing authorities. Individuals, foreign entities, and sole proprietorships are not eligible to apply or receive awards.
