This funding supports demonstration projects that expand capacity of programs addressing family, domestic, and dating violence. Activities include direct counseling, advocacy, age-appropriate services for victims and children, and support for non-abusing parents. Optional services include early childhood development, mental health support, and coordination with community organizations to provide additional resources like childcare and educational support.
Eligible applicants include public and private higher education institutions, Native American tribal organizations, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, local agencies, faith-based and community organizations with a record of serving victims of family, domestic, or dating violence and their
