This grant funds hazardous materials emergency preparedness planning and training activities for federally recognized Native American tribal governments. It supports training emergency responders and planning efforts to ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials and protect nearby persons, property, and the environment from accidents or incidents involving hazardous materials transportation.
Eligible applicants are federally recognized Native American tribal governments.
