The FY 2025 Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program provides financial assistance to eligible fire departments, EMS organizations, and State Fire Training Academies. It supports equipping and training personnel, providing compliant personal protective equipment, retrofitting facilities for health safety, acquiring emergency vehicles, and implementing health, wellness, and resiliency programs to enhance emergency response capabilities and community resilience.
Eligible applicants include county and city governments, nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status (excluding higher education institutions), and federally recognized Native American tribal governments.
