This grant program provides funding to Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities to implement transformational investments in research infrastructure. Funded activities include enhancing research productivity, faculty expertise, graduate programs, physical infrastructure, human capital development, and partnerships that lead to increased external and sustained funding.
Eligible applicants include private institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized), Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), and public and state-controlled institutions of higher education.
