This program funds States, Tribal governments, and research institutions to promote the domestic maple syrup industry. Activities include research and education on maple syrup production, promoting sustainability, market promotion, and encouraging maple-sugaring on private lands, including public access arrangements.
Eligible applicants include special district governments, Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized), county, state, city or township governments, and public/state controlled higher education institutions.
