This opportunity funds projects that create, expand, or enhance technology use by victim service organizations to improve interaction with crime victims, elevate service quality, and ensure accessibility and responsiveness. Funding excludes projects focused on equipment purchase without technological development, existing commercial solutions, duplication of services, or active investigation activities. Hotline-related projects must focus on innovative technological infrastructure.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits (with or without 501(c)(3) status), Native American tribal governments, special district governments, private and public institutions of higher education, city, county, and state governments, public housing authorities, and Native American tribal organizations.
