EnglishxSTEM funds the development and delivery of specialized English for Specific Purposes programs targeting STEM and strategic sectors in the Dominican Republic. The initiative supports technical English proficiency, professional communication, and workforce readiness for 500-800 students, faculty, and professionals over three years. It fosters collaboration between Dominican institutions and U.S. partners in semiconductors, AI, cybersecurity, biotechnology, energy, and research, including U.S.-based exchanges and faculty training.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status (excluding higher education institutions) and public or private educational institutions. Applicants must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and valid SAM.gov registration. Individuals are not eligible to apply.
