This grant supports municipalities in deploying 63 MW of solar power and 10 MW of battery storage on brownfield and landfill sites, alongside initiatives to restore natural habitats, expand tree coverage, and create pollinator habitats. It aims to facilitate the transition from coal-fired power and promote nature-based conservation solutions.
Eligible applicants are municipalities, specifically coalition members such as the City of Cleveland and City of Painesville.
