This funding opportunity supports projects that generate independent, policy-relevant estimates of the global burden of diarrheal diseases focusing on mortality and morbidity in children under five in low- and middle-income countries. Funded activities include epidemiologic and quantitative modeling to produce credible, transparent, and decision-useful burden estimates, including country-specific mortality and morbidity projections centered on 2025 data.
