This program funds acquisition of land and water and development or renovation of outdoor recreation facilities in qualifying urban areas or federally recognized tribal lands. Projects must provide public outdoor recreation access in perpetuity, meet matching fund requirements, and align with Land and Water Conservation Fund policies and national priorities.
Eligible applicants include state governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, and others as specified in additional information. Projects must be located in qualifying urban or tribal areas.
