This funding supports the National Center for Rural School Mental Health to enhance rural schools' ability to identify, prevent, and intervene in youth mental health issues. It funds development and evaluation of a comprehensive mental health screening system, data dashboards, evidence-based interventions, and professional development across rural districts in Missouri, Virginia, and Montana. The initiative addresses rural mental health disparities through research-practice partnerships and national dissemination.
