The FY26 Combat Readiness Medical Research Program Translational Research Award supports innovative, hypothesis-driven translational research that accelerates trauma care solutions to maximize casualty survivability and improve patient care closer to injury points. Research must have preliminary data and a minimum technology readiness level of 4. Well-validated animal models are permitted. Only one application per principal investigator is allowed for FY26.
Open to any type of entity without restrictions, subject to additional clarifications. Principal investigators may only lead one application for FY26.
