This program provides funding to eligible governments, educational institutions, nonprofits, and tribal governments for indemnity coverage of arts and artifacts exhibitions and related activities. Applicants must follow application guidelines available at arts.gov. The grant supports domestic indemnity programs to protect valuable cultural assets.
Eligible applicants include city, county, state, and special district governments; public and private institutions of higher education; nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status; independent school districts; and federally recognized Native American tribal governments.
