This program funds acquisition of research equipment at accredited U.S. higher education institutions to improve their ability to conduct defense-relevant research and educate scientists and engineers. It excludes for-profit organizations and focuses on instrumentation that advances national defense capabilities.
Eligible applicants are accredited U.S. public, state-controlled, and private institutions of higher education. For-profit organizations are not eligible.
