Supports acquisition of research equipment and instrumentation at accredited U.S. universities and University Affiliated Research Centers to advance basic research and education in science, mathematics, and engineering disciplines aligned with Department of War priorities, including Army, Navy, and Air Force research interests. Proposals must demonstrate educational impact.
Eligible applicants are accredited U.S. institutions of higher education with degree programs in science, mathematics, or engineering, excluding for-profit educational institutions. University Affiliated Research Centers may apply; Federally Funded Research and Development Centers are not eligible.
