Supports acquisition of research equipment and instrumentation at accredited U.S. universities and University Affiliated Research Centers to advance basic research priorities of the Department of War. Proposals must demonstrate how the equipment will enhance student education through research in science, mathematics, and engineering disciplines relevant to Army, Navy, and Air Force missions.
Eligible applicants are accredited U.S. institutions of higher education with degree programs in science, mathematics, or engineering, excluding for-profit educational institutions. University Affiliated Research Centers may apply; Federally Funded Research and Development Centers are not eligible.
