This funding supports a two-year program aimed at increasing market opportunities in Vietnam for U.S. innovative biofertilizer exporters. Activities include comparative research on nitrogen leaching reduction, collaboration on national fertilizer guidelines, outreach tours by U.S. organic rice farmers, and evaluation of increased imports of U.S. biofertilizer products. The program focuses on sustainable nutrient management based on the 4Rs concept to enhance fertilizer effectiveness and reduce environmental impact.
Eligible applicants include state cooperative institutions or other U.S. colleges and universities with active registration in the U.S. Government System for Award Management (SAM). Inactive or excluded entities are ineligible.
