This grant supports institutions aiming to enhance their master's, doctorate, and professional degree programs in food and agricultural sciences and veterinary medicine. Funded activities include improving curriculum, faculty capacity, scientific instrumentation, and student recruitment and retention to strengthen institutional capabilities.
Eligible applicants are land-grant institutions and other accredited colleges and universities with capacity to teach food and agricultural sciences and confer graduate degrees. Research foundations affiliated with eligible institutions may apply. Individuals are not eligible.
