This funding supports comprehensive research and data collection on hateful rhetoric and violent acts targeting minority populations in South Africa. It includes assessing access to justice and law enforcement protection, documenting violence affecting Afrikaner and other minorities, and developing recommendations to improve law enforcement to ensure equal protection in line with international standards.
Eligible applicants include U.S.-based non-profits, institutions of higher education, for-profit organizations, foreign non-profits, and public international organizations.
