This funding supports Native American tribes and tribal organizations in their efforts to plan and prepare for assuming responsibility for providing health care to their members through the Tribal Self Governance Program. The program issues cooperative agreements to facilitate negotiation and planning activities, with three awards intended under each announcement.
Eligible applicants include Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized), Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), and other tribes or tribal organizations as specified.
