This funding supports programs that enhance early warning and rapid response to security threats in Nigeria's Middle Belt. Funded activities include deploying community monitors, establishing secure communication channels between at-risk communities and security forces, and creating coordination centers that connect federal, state, and local responders to real-time threat data. The goal is to detect threats early, accelerate security deployments, and reduce violence and casualties.
Eligible applicants include not-for-profit organizations, think tanks, civil society/non-governmental organizations, public and private educational institutions, public international organizations, and governmental institutions.
