This cooperative agreement funds research projects that advance climate adaptation science in Alaska, focusing on ecosystem disturbances such as spruce beetle outbreaks and invasive species spread. Funded activities include developing actionable science and tools that support decision-making by resource managers, addressing priorities like energy dominance, hazard preparedness, and natural resource stewardship under various Executive Orders.
Eligible applicants must be participating partners of the Alaska Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program. This opportunity is limited to CESU partners providing research, technical assistance, and education.
