This funding supports the collection, processing, and analysis of the Annual Surveys of Probation and Parole for five years (2026-2030). The surveys provide detailed data on individuals under community supervision, including probation and parole populations, to improve understanding and reporting of correctional supervision trends and outcomes. The project involves working with numerous agencies to ensure accurate and comprehensive data.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and tribal governments; public and private institutions of higher education; nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status; for-profit organizations excluding small businesses; and small businesses.
