This funding opportunity supports projects aimed at enhancing the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) Estimation System. Activities include improving technical capacity and efficiency, accelerating the timeliness of crime and arrest estimates, refining measurement methodologies, and supporting state Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program efforts to ensure accurate and timely crime data reporting.
Eligible applicants include public and state-controlled institutions of higher education, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding institutions of higher education), private institutions of higher education, and for-profit organizations other than small businesses.
