This fellowship program provides institutional grants to support new full-time graduate students pursuing master's, DVM, or doctoral degrees in food and agricultural sciences. It aims to develop human capital to meet USDA's mission by increasing the pipeline of domestic agricultural students through graduate training and experiential learning in relevant disciplines.
Eligible applicants are accredited land-grant institutions and other universities with graduate programs in food and agricultural sciences. Students must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents, enrolled full-time in relevant graduate programs, and new to graduate study.
