This program funds state, local, and tribal efforts to improve investigation and prosecution of sexual assaults in confinement facilities. Eligible agencies can use funds for activities aimed at reducing incidents and increasing successful prosecutions, strengthening justice system responses in these settings.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city or township governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, other Native American tribal organizations, and publicly funded law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies.
